Last Saturday we headed out to the local apple orchard to take in some fall fun. We took a hayride out into the orchards to pick the apples. It was a little late in the season so most of the apples had fallen already. This is when it comes in handy to have a tall husband. Scott was able to reach some great apples and Spencer spent most of his time collecting them off the ground.
There was a petting zoo at the orchard as well. Spencer loved the pigs and the donkey. He was a little overwhelmed by the hungry goats who tried their best to make their way through the gate.
Spencer's favorite part of the day...the cow stamp that they stamped your hand with to show you had paid admission. Now that is a typical toddler! If we would have only known, we could have saved ourselves some time and money! It was a sad night when he had to take a bath and found out the ink wasn't permanent!
