deck the halls
In our house, the weekend after Thanksgiving marks the date when the pumpkins and leaves are put away and the trees and stockings emerge for an all too short month. Spencer was a big help throwing the ornaments around, because when you are a two year old boy, "breakable" is a hard concept to grasp. And if it is round, it is meant to be thrown.

thankful
Scott and I hosted the Felhofer Family Thanksgiving at our house this year. (That should read Scott, my mom, and I hosted...seeing as we merely provided the house and she did most of the work! Thanks Mom!)
The food was great, the game was even better depending on who you ask...Go Packers, and we didn't have to drive anywhere. I can't ask for a better Holiday than that.
Here are a few pictures from our day. Spencer was not loving the traditional turkey headband! And I must pat myself on the pack for voluntarily dressing Spencer in the appropriate Packer Jersey over the adorable Thanksgiving outfit I had planned. You win some, you lose some.

yes, today spencer
For the last few weeks Spencer has been asking "is today Halloween", and our response has been "not today Spencer". Well, yesterday Spencer was in his Halloween glory.
There was a Halloween party at daycare complete with costumes and treats. After a pizza supper with the neighbors, the much talked about Coco and Riley, Scott and Spencer headed out with them to trick-or-treat. Spencer came home with a bucket full of candy that mom and dad will surely help eat! It took a lot of convincing to get him out of the costume and in to bed. Hopefully he won't think this is a new nightly tradition!
