sleep
So far, this is all we know of Lincoln. At one week old he is still loving to sleep, and I am not complaining one bit. Now that I said it, I am sure I am doomed, but we will take all the sleep we can get for now!

first days
Lincoln is officially 6 days old today. We went to the doctor for his check up and he is back to his birth weight of 8 lbs 10 oz. Dr's like to see babies back at their birth weight by 2 weeks of age, so Lincoln is ahead of the game!
Spencer is adjusting like a typical 2 year old. I think more than anything he is going a little stir crazy being trapped in the house all day every day with Scott and I. Grandma Natalie and Grandpa John come this weekend and I know Spencer will love the change of pace.
Is anyone else dying for Spring? I can't wait to be able to take both boys outside for some fresh air and change of scenery. It can't be too far off, right?
Here are a few pictures from our first week home.

the memo
So it appears that this baby didn't get the memo. You know, the one that says after 40 weeks it's okay to make an entrance into the world.
Spencer never got this notcie either, so I really didn't expect much different with number 2.
We will call and email if there is any change!

a little sunshine
It is hard to get a 2 year old to sit still for anything; much less a video taped singing session. Somehow this weekend I managed to get a little cooperation, there was a promise of Play Doh involved.
Here is Spencer singing one of our favorites.

the waiting game
With just 9 days until my due date and no sign of a baby any time soon, we are all waiting.
We put the finishing touches on the nursery this weekend. Scott hung the white shelves he built as well as many other things. I am sure he wouldn't list hanging things on walls as his favorite activity, but the man has a knack for it and I utilize this talent of his to its fullest extent.
(Scott forgot our anniversary the year we moved into this house and to make up for it he was at my mercy to hang pictures and shelves when desired...i bet he will remember every year from here on out!)
Enjoy the photos of the nursery below:
