2. We lost everything from our computer. Everything. I hadn't backed up a single thing and unless we want to fork over $800 to have the hard drive recovered, it's gone.
3. That's devastating.
4. My photo editing software is still on the fritz, so excuse the poor color on the pictures below. They are uploaded straight from Scott's camera.
5. Before. We have been talking for a while about ripping out the closet in our kitchen to make room for some built in storage and a bench. This is the view prior to the closet being torn out.
6. During. The tearing down of the closet walls happened pretty quickly and painlessly. And there it sat. For a good month. Like this.
7. After. So what do you do when you have sat with a gaping hole in your kitchen for over a month. You call in the reinforcement (a.k.a. my extremely talented father in law) for a weekend of non stop work. And you end up with this.
8. Scott's just working on a few finishing touches and the doors for the upper cabinets are yet to be completed, but so far it has been the best project we have completed. It opens up the space so much and works perfectly for all the shoes in our house, big and small.
9. Guess who has more personality than he knows what to do with? He makes us laugh. Really hard.
